She was reminded everyday of her being a lady, that she’s not to love boldly or gaze. So they said she should wait, elegantly sit but never chase. For her life that was framed in a blank canvas, he brought with him a unicorn of colors and grace. A rare twinkle of his shades, other than her, no one dared to embrace. Until one day that reclaimed her life, blinded by ordinary days that went unclaimed. And he sat there looking like a piece of wonder, making her heart pound faster over and over. Forgive her, I understand. His existence was so bewitching, that it made her forget her gender.
